Salman Khan is back in Mumbai after wrapping up the Ladakh schedule of his upcoming action drama Battle of Galwan, and due to some health concerns opted to rest for a while.

According to Pinkvilla, a source shared that Salman and the crew braved sub-10 degree temperatures while filming in Ladakh.

The source revealed, “The actor fought health concerns, managing low oxygen levels and extreme weather conditions. The team shot action and dramatic moments at real locations.”

The latest update suggests the 59-year-old superstar will begin the second schedule of the film coming week in Mumbai.

This leg is said to be crucial, as the makers plan to shoot not just heavy-duty action but also some key emotional sequences.

While the Sikandar star faced minor health issues during the shoot, he is expected to rest this week before resuming work. Nearly 45 days of filming were completed in Ladakh, with Salman on set for 15 days to shoot his portions. The Mumbai schedule is set to roll out next week.

Though the release date of Battle of Galwan is still under wraps, an official announcement is expected soon.

Back in July, Salman had unveiled the first look motion poster, showing him in a rugged, battle-scarred avatar, moustached, bloodied, and fierce-eyed. Without dialogue but with a stirring soundscape, the poster set the tone for a patriotic drama filled with valor and sacrifice.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film revisits the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops, a deadly hand-to-hand combat that remains one of the most emotional chapters in India’s recent history.
