Shah Rukh Khan thanks fans for supporting Aryan Khan
Shah Rukh Khan shows gratitude for the love received on Aryan Khan's directorial debut
Shah Rukh Khan has once again shown his warmth toward fans, this time while responding to the outpouring of support his son Aryan Khan received for his directorial debut The Ba**ds of Bollywood.
The actor took to X (formerly Twitter) after some fan clubs shared posts consisting of photos of people celebrating the series with posters of both father and son.
Re-posting the pictures, Shah Rukh thanked many, and wrote in a post with characteristic humour, “Thank u team for the love and cheers. Hope you guys finished watching the show… at least a few times. Ha ha.”
At the show’s launch, the 59-year-old star reflected on Aryan’s vision. “When Aryan told me he was going to make a show on Bollywood, raw, edgy, with a bit of madness, I thought, ‘Is he planning to upload Mannat’s CCTV footage on YouTube?’” he joked.
He admitted it took him some time to catch the tone, but once he did, “I was completely drawn in, and honestly, I’m really, really happy about it.”
Aryan’s series has been stirring conversations since its September 18 release.
The project strips away Bollywood’s glossy facade, leaning into satire and behind-the-scenes drama. Its unflinching approach and sharp writing have already made it stand out.
Now streaming on Netflix, The Ba**ds of Bollywood marks Aryan Khan’s first but promising step in the direction.
