Varun Dhawan has finally broken his silence about  his  soon-to-be released movie Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

The Student Of The Year star told the outlet, that his upcoming film is a lively family entertainer which he admits won’t change anyone’s life, but promises to lift the mood.

In an interview with India Today, the actor spoke about the aim of the movie, stating, “This is not a preachy film or something where we’re giving gyan (advice). It’s about going back to the time when you’d watch a movie and walk out with a big smile,"

The actor, 37, also explained that the movie’s focus lies in bringing out positivity, adding, "If you went in with a family member with whom you had unresolved issues, maybe those issues would get resolved...That’s the positive power we are trying to put out with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.”

Both Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 are set to release on October 2.

When asked about the box-office clash, he mentioned that Kantara  “is a very big film” and the “first one was amazing.” 

He further shared that the movies are “very different,” and in his view, “there’s more than enough space for all kinds of films.”

Notably, the forthcoming hit film, is directed by Shashank Khaitan and the star-studded cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf.
