After the huge success of 'Animal', Sandeep Reddy Vanga is gearing up for part 2 with Ranbir Kapoor
The massive success of Ranbir Kapoor's starrer Animal has given the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga confidence to move forward with its sequel.
Since it was confirmed that the action drama will have a follow-up titled Animal Park, fans have been waiting eagerly for every little update.
On his 43rd birthday, Ranbir came live on Instagram and finally shared some news that left fans excited.
During the live session, the Barfi actor spoke about different aspects, both personal and professional. But the highlight was when he spilled the beans on Animal Park.
The actor revealed, “Animal Park should start in 2027. Sandeep has been interacting with me on the idea, the music, and the characters, and it's just crazy, and I can't wait to be on set.”
Notably, Animal was released in December 2023 and became one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema.
It grossed more than Rs. 900 crore worldwide and was especially acclaimed for its music and intense action sequences.
Along with Ranbir Kapoor, the film had Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri in important roles. Bobby Deol’s performance as the main antagonist also became one of the talking points.
On the other hand, Ranbir is currently busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, which also features Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in lead roles,and set to release on March 20, 2026.
