Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are soon stepping into their new bungalow in Mumbai.

The couple had started the construction of this property before their wedding, but the shifting kept getting delayed.

Now, during an Instagram live on his birthday, the 43-year-old actor himself has hinted that they may be shifting soon.

The Barfi star said, "The vacation was great. It was like work-cum-vacation, as some of you guys know, I am shifting to my new house, so we had to do some house shopping. So we made a quick two-day trip with the family, and it just worked out perfectly that it was the same time as my birthday.

I had a wonderful birthday last night. Actually, my entire last two days have been great because I was with my family, I was with my mother, with Alia and Raha. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday."

According to reports, the Sanju star plans to name the bungalow after Raha. If true, she will be the youngest star kid to have such a massive property under her name.

The bungalow is said to be one of the most expensive celebrity homes in Mumbai, estimated at over Rs. 250 crore, even more costly than Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa.

The house is a six-storey building with rooms for Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, her daughter Samara, and, of course, for the couple themselves.

The bungalow also carries the family's legacy as it originally belonged to his grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, who later passed it to Rishi and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s, and now to Ranbir and Alia.

Both Ranbir and Alia are said to be equally investing their earnings to complete their dream house.
