Pakistan’s entertainment industry has lost one of its comedian Lucky Dear passed away at the age of 60 in Lahore on Tuesday 30 September, 2025 after a prolonged illness. 

Lucky was part of entertainment industry and entertained audiences with his free-flowing acting in hundreds of dramas and films.  He was a well-known comedian of theatre, TV, and film.

Family sources confirmed that the Lucky had been under treatment at Mayo Hospital for several weeks. He was battling lung disease, diabetes, and multiple organ failure. 

Despite intensive medical care and prayers from fans across the country, his health continued to decline.

Mayo Hospital officials revealed that Lucky slipped into a coma earlier this month as his liver, lungs, and stomach complications worsened. He was fighting lung disease, diabetes, and multi-organ failure.

His health continued to deteriorate even with aggressive medical treatment and the prayers of fans all around the nation.

Actors and players who worked alongside him recalled his support for young talent and his dedication to keeping theatre alive in Pakistan.

Funeral arrangements:

His funeral prayer has not yet been announced. Since he had three marriages, the family is gathering. A large number of fans, colleagues, and members of the entertainment fraternity are anticipated to gather in Lahore to pay their final respect to Lucky Dear.
