David DeLuise couldn’t help but feel captivated by Taylor Swift’s presence at Selena Gomez’s wedding.

While looking back on his onscreen daughter’s dreamy real life wedding to Benny Blanco the 53-year-old actor, who played Jerry Russo on the popular Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place, shared that one of the highlights from the intimate September 27, celebration in Santa Barbara was sharing a conversation with Taylor Swift.

He admitted on his wife Julia DeLuise’s Instagram Story on September 29, "If I have to say one, it’s being around Taylor."

Continuing, "She’s just amazing. The energy that was popping off of her."

Julia, in agreement with her husband, recalled how the Cruel Summer hitmaker made her way over to greet them and their Wizards costar Jennifer Stone at the wedding festivities.

According to People, Julia went on to speak on the incident, sharing, "She walked over while we were waiting for Selena to come to get married, and she knows Jennifer, so she came straight toward us."

"When she walked in, all these other people were already there, but it was like the heavens opened up and an angel descended, and it was her. She walked in and she walked up to us and we talked."

"Taylor’s kindness may have been unforgettable, but David noted the ceremony itself carried its own special magic.

“Being there for the actual vows,” he added. “Everything that was said was so great. And when they opened the curtain for the first time in the day, the sun came out and it was sunset behind her. It was as if they were like, ‘Don’t worry. Cue the sun!’”

David also confessed that he got emotional during the ceremony, "crying, of course, the whole time,”  but   added, "The dancing was my favorite part, the dancing with my wife.”
