Emma Stone turned heads at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday — but not for the reasons she may have expected.

The Oscar-winning actress was among the celebrity guests at Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in the French capital, where she arrived in a chic strapless white midi dress paired with a matching cardigan.

According to Daily Mail, Stone posed alongside Thai superstar Lisa, but it was that photo which quickly set social media ablaze. 

Many fans claimed the Hollywood star looked dramatically different, with comments ranging from “Where is Emma Stone??” to “That is NOT Emma Stone.”

Moreover, the reaction came just weeks after the actress faced criticism for comments made while promoting her new film Bugonia. 

Speaking at the Telluride Film Festival, Stone compared the dark comedy’s storyline — in which she plays a CEO kidnapped by disgruntled employees — to the high-profile case of Luigi Mangione, who is accused of murdering a healthcare executive in New York last year. 

Additionally, some observers called the remark “detached from reality.”

Despite the online chatter, Stone remains a fixture on both Hollywood’s red carpets and its front rows, continuing her close relationship with Louis Vuitton, the fashion house for which she has long served as a brand ambassador.
