Alia Bhatt gave fans a glimpse of her married life, revealing that her biggest troll at home is none other than her husband, Ranbir Kapoor.

During her appearance on Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle alongside Varun Dhawan, the 32-year-old actress described her relationship with the Animal star as something deeper than just a filmy romance. 

She said, “Ranbir and I have a natural friendship so it was never this like dewy eye or rose tinted glasses sort of relationship. There was a relationship of best friends. 

"Of course I married him for a reason because I think he's wonderful to me and just as a human being. But 100 percent the person I love trolling is him and the person he loves trolling the most is me,” she continued.

Furthermore, she also stressed that respect forms the backbone of their marriage, as she stated, “Because with respect comes all the other things. Whether it's support or love. Respect to me is the most important thing in a marriage, and in a union.” 

Additionally, the actor added that their wedding reflected their personalities perfectly, as she mentioned, “It’s just who we are. We are homebodies, very socially awkward and we were like it's our wedding day and we just want the closest people in our lives with us.”

For the unversed, back in April 2022, the pair exchanged vows in a small wedding at their Mumbai residence, attended by friends and family, including Karan Johar, Akash Ambani, and Ayan Mukerji.

In the same year, on November 8, the couple welcomed their daughter, Raha and revealed her face at the 2023 Kapoor Christmas lunch.

Notably, Ranbir will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, starring Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, and Lara Dutta. 

The film will release in two installments, with the first hitting cinemas on Diwali 2026. 

Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir will also share screen  with Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, which is currently in it's production phase.
