Pawan Kalyan’s action drama They Call Him OG is showing strong momentum at the box office, contending close to the ₹250 crore worldwide milestone within its first week.

On its seventh day, the film added about ₹ 8.25 crore in India, bringing its domestic to nearly ₹ 185 crore. The overseas market has also responded well, contributing ₹ 60.50 crore (USD 6.85 million). With this, the film’s global earnings now stand at an impressive ₹ 245.50 crore.

Strong hold on weekdays:

The Telugu states continue to be biggest driver of collections. On Wenesday, 01 October, 2025, OG ₹ 6.75 crore across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, dipping just 10 percent from Tuesday. In Nizam, collections were steady, while Coastal Andhra saw minor drops after a high launch earlier in the week.

Box office status:

The film has already been declared a hit, but whether it climbs further depends on its hold during the holidays period. Distributors in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana may not recover completely due to heavy investments, but for the producers, the film is comfortably in the green. Analysts suggest that ₹ 200 crore domestic would be a very strong outgrowth, and the film is on track to reach there soon.

Regional and overseas breakdown:

AP/ TS ₹ 157.00 crore

Nizam ₹ 64.50 crore

Ceded ₹ 20.75 crore

Andhra ₹ 71.75 crore

Karnataka ₹ 17.75 crore

Tamil Nadu – Kerala ₹ 4.25 crore

Rest of India ₹ 6.00 crore

India Total ₹ 185.00 crore

Overseas ₹ 60.50 crore

Worldwide ₹ 245.50 crore

Looking Ahed:

The Dussehra holiday is expected to give the film a further boost, though it faces new competition from Kantara Chapter 1. Still, with similar strong word of mouth and steady weekday numbers, They Call Him OG is firmly positioned as one of Pawan Kalyan’s biggest career hits.
