The  newest romantic comedy movie, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, lit up theatres this Dussehra and is already winning hearts of netizens.

The movie, which is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar,  features Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, alongside Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf.

The moviegoers have said it’s a “joyful and breezy family movie,” with social media buzzing with happy reviews about its comedy, chemistry, and colorful style. Some viewers even said it’s “a real delight” and “total Bollywood package.”

One X (formerly twitter) user wrote, “The entire cast deserves high praise. Varun and Janhvi share incredible, sparkling chemistry that lights up the screen. Their comedic timing and emotional scenes are executed flawlessly.”

Janhvi has quickly become the surprise star of the film. Viewers are loving her effortless comic timing, which has added an unexpected spark to the story.

“#JanhviKapoor as Tulsi literally made the movie 100x funnier. Every line, every expression was perfection,” one fan wrote online.

Meanwhile, Varun, who returned to his classic rom-com style, stands out as Sunny a family-rooted lover caught in the whirlwind of wedding drama.

Notably, his lively charm matches perfectly with Janhvi’s character Tulsi, and together they light up the screen with a bond audiences truly enjoyed.

The supporting cast has also left a mark. Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, seen as extended family members, have been described as the “surprise packets” of the movie.

“Their presence added so much freshness. Every time they were on screen, the film just got better,” a viewer shared.

Visually, SSKTK is a feast of the bright colours, dance numbers, and the chaos of weddings captured in Dharma’s signature style. One sequence in particular, showing a rain-soaked baraat, which has been highlighted as a scene that feels both festive and cinematic.

“The wedding chaos is everything. I loved it! Just a perfect light-hearted film for the festive season,” said one fan who caught an early morning show on Dussehra.
