Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after nearly two decades of marriage, shocking fans and the entertainment world. 

The Oscar-winning actress and the country music star are said to be already living apart, with insiders claiming Kidman was left blindsided by the split. 

The couple, who wed in a lavish Sydney ceremony in 2006, share two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

 Kidman also has two older children, Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.

According to the Daily Mail, Kidman’s romantic life has long been in the public eye. 

In the 1980s, she dated her Windrider co-star Tom Burlinson for three years, a relationship he later described as her first adult romance. 

She went on to date Australian actor Marcus Graham, who admitted he was heartbroken when they split but said he had nothing bad to say about her. 

Her most high-profile relationship was with Cruise, whom she married in 1990 after meeting on the set of Days of Thunder, as per the outlet. 

The couple adopted two children, appeared together in several films, and seemed inseparable until Cruise abruptly filed for divorce in 2001, citing irreconcilable differences. 

Kidman later said the split was a shock to her system, while Cruise only remarked that they both knew the real reason. 

In the early 2000s, she briefly dated musician Lenny Kravitz, and although their engagement ended, they remained on good terms, with Kravitz describing her as “amazing.”

Her relationship with Urban, however, was widely seen as the love story that defined her later life, as per the publication. 

The pair met in 2005 and married the following year, with Kidman later calling him the love of her life. 

Urban has spoken openly about the challenges they faced, including his battle with addiction early in their marriage. 

Just four months after their wedding, he entered rehab, crediting Kidman with helping him through a difficult period. 

“Her capacity to love is like no one I’ve ever met,” he said during a tribute to her in 2023, as per the outlet's claims. 

Despite their devotion, friends say their demanding careers kept them apart, with Kidman often away filming and Urban on tour. 

A source close to the couple explained, “There was a lot of love between them, but they were living in different worlds.” 

While neither Kidman nor Urban has commented publicly on the separation, those close to them believe reconciliation is possible.
