Henry Cavill isn’t letting a serious leg injury derail his workout routine.

The 42-year-old actor shared a series of Instagram photos on October 1, showing himself exercising with a large brace strapped to his left leg, nearly three weeks after news first broke that he had been injured while preparing for the upcoming Highlander reboot.

The photos captured Cavill performing pull-ups, leg extensions, and receiving treatment on the injured leg.

Alongside the images, he posted the quote, “Endure. In enduring, grow strong,” a line from the 1999 video game Planescape: Torment.

According to People, Cavill first acknowledged the injury on September 19, posting a picture of his leg wrapped and elevated while sharing the text of William Ernest Henley’s famed poem Invictus.

The cause of the injury remains unclear, though Deadline previously reported it occurred during training for the fantasy epic.

The Highlander remake, currently in pre-production at Amazon MGM Studios, will see Cavill star alongside Russell Crowe, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Marisa Abela, Djimon Hounsou, and Max Zhang.

“If you thought you’d seen me do sword work before, you haven’t seen anything yet,” Cavill teased earlier this year at CinemaCon.

Despite the setback, the Man of Steel star is keeping a busy slate.

In addition to Highlander, he is set to appear in Guy Ritchie’s In the Grey and recently made a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine.
