Sunny Kaushal shared his excitement over Katrina and Vicky Kaushal’s pregnancy, saying he and his family are over the moon in a recent interview.

The 36-year-old actor, who will be the baby’s “chachu,” attended an intimate birthday celebration on 28 September for his 36th birthday, where Katrina was also present.

Talking to Instant Bollywood, the 36-year-old actor shared, “Khushkhabhri hai aur sabko badi khushi hai (It’s happy news and everyone is delighted). Nervous bhi hain sab ki aage jaake kya hoga (We’re also nervous about what lies ahead), so we are just waiting for that day to come.”

The Bhangra Paa Le star's birthday celebration included close friends and family, with Mini Mathur sharing a picture, which featured the birthday boy, Katrina, and Katrina’s sister Isabelle Kaif.

Meanwhile, the Ek Tha Tiger actress herself also posted a heartfelt birthday message for Sunny, calling him her “best devar,” showing the sweet bond they share.

The soon-to-be parents couple, who exchanged vows in a royal wedding at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara, Rajasthan, in 2021, last month, revealed their happy news online, with fans, friends, and family instantly showering them with love.

The  social media post displayed Vicky lovingly cradled the Katrina's baby bump while the couple captioned it, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”

Sunny was most recently seen in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba with Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey.

He will next star in Letters To Mr. Khanna, a coming-of-age story directed by Milind Dhaimade, alongside Neetu Kapoor and Shraddha Srinath. It is pertinent to note that the film's premiere date haven't revealed yet.
