Hundreds of users worldwide are experiencing issues with ChatGPT, the well known AI chatbot from OpenAI. As of this writing, more than 700 users had reported problems with the platform, according to outage tracker Downdetector.

A media report confirmed that neither the app nor the Web platform's ChatGPT was reacting to prompts. Users from Australia, the UK and the US are also reporting ChatGPT outages, suggesting that the problem is not just in India.

The popular AI chatbot from OpenAI, ChatGPT, is having problems for hundreds of users worldwide.

According to outage tracker Downdetector, over 700 users had reported issues with the platform as of this writing. The report was able to independently verify that neither the Web platform's ChatGPT nor the app was responding to commands.

ChatGPT outages are also being reported by users in the US, UK and Australia indicating that the issue is not limited to India.

OpenAI has not yet acknowledged the outage as of this writing.

The message "We're not aware of any issues affecting our systems" flashed on the OpenAI Status page, indicating that the most recent ChatGPT outage might be a minor one and that services might soon resume.
