A new image said to be from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King has set social media buzzing, though many are unsure if it’s real.

On Tuesday, the Twitter page of Lets Cinema shared a dark, silhouette-style picture showing what looked like a fight scene, a man in a suit taking on several people with swords, under yellow lighting in a hall filled with statues. 

The post captioned, “SRK in and as KING. Directed by @justSidAnand.”

Fans quickly flooded the comments. One wrote, “Sidharth Anand and SRK are going to cook,” while another said, “King is back… It’s going to be mayhem.” The picture was first shared by an SRK fan club earlier in the day with the caption, “#KING SWORD FIGHT SEQUENCE LEAKED.”

However, not everyone is convinced it’s from the actual film. Some online users suspected it might be AI-generated. 

When one person asked Twitter’s AI bot Grok, it replied that the picture “appears to be an AI-generated concept” and that no official posters for King have been released yet.

Sources linked to the production have neither confirmed nor denied the image’s authenticity. They said an action sequence like that does exist in the film, but did not say if this image was from the shoot.

King brings Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand together again after Pathaan and also stars Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and Abhishek Bachchan. No release date has been announced.
