Aneet Padda, who rose to fame with Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, appears to be on over the moon after her grand entry into the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.

The 23-year-old actress, recently confirmed as the lead in Shakti Shalini, was spotted watching her own teaser moment unfold in theatres and her reaction is winning hearts online.

In a video that’s gone viral across social media, the actress is seen watching the Thamma post credits scene, where her character, Shakti Shalini     is officially introduced.

Fans flooded the comments with love and pride for her. 

One wrote, “She looks so proud. We are too my love,” while another gushed, “The smile on her face.” 

A third added, “Wow lovely, she deserves it. We feel so proud for her. All the best Aneet.”

The movie Shakti Shalini is set to release on December 24, 2026, marking the next big chapter in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). 

The teaser describes her character as “the creator, the destroyer, and the mother of all.”

Buzz around her casting first started after the Thamma post credits scene went viral.

 In one scene, a woman in a white lehenga is seen floating above the ground in a dark forest, her braid dancing in the air. Even without seeing her face, eagled eyed moviegoers instantly recognised her entry into the MHCU.

It is pertinent to note, as per previous reports, Kiara Advani was being considered for the role.
