For the first time in Bollywood’s history, fans will get a chance to take a closer look into the lives of one of the industry’s most iconic families, the Kapoor family, whose story will soon come to life on screen.

This special documentary, titled Dining With The Kapoors, will soon be streamed on Netflix, offering rare glimpses into the lives of this filmy family.

The film, releasing on November 21, 2025, traces the Kapoor legacy, from its beginnings with Prithviraj Kapoor to today’s stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Karisma Kapoor.

The newly released poster shows several generations of the family, including Randhir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Babita Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and younger members like Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Zahan Kapoor, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda.

The Netflix post read, “Kapoor Khandaan ka lunch invite aa gaya hai... and you’re invited.”

The documentary will also feature family in-laws such as Saif Ali Khan, Bharat Sahni, and Kunal Kapoor, among others. It explores their shared love for food, family traditions, and cinema, elements that have defined the Kapoor name for decades.

Creator Armaan Jain called the project “an emotional experience,” saying it allowed him to combine his love for “storytelling, food, and family.”

He said that growing up in the Kapoor household, “the real magic happened around the dinner table,” where stories and laughter brought everyone together.

This marks Netflix’s first in-depth look at the Kapoor family’s history, following the grand 2024 celebration of Raj Kapoor’s centenary, which featured film screenings across India.
