Kim Kardashian has spoken publicly about the state of her friendship with former First Daughter Ivanka Trump and her evolving stance on immigration enforcement under the Donald Trump administration.

In recent remarks, Kardashian acknowledged that while she has known Trump for several years, their relationship has shifted in light of Kardashian’s public condemnation of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids across the country. 

According to Daily Mail, she described the raids as “inhumane” and emphasized that they affect many people she knows personally. 

Kardashian’s criticism arrives amid scrutiny of her prior social connections to the former administration. 

She posted a photo of First Lady Melania Trump on Inauguration Day and has been publicly associated with Ivanka Trump at high-profile events, raising questions about the consistency of her stance on Trump-era policies. 

While Kardashian did not sever ties with Ivanka Trump, sources say that their friendship is under new pressure, as Kardashian’s support for immigrant rights diverges from the policies of Trump’s administration. 

In an Instagram post, she called for mutual responsibility and a more humane approach to immigration, stating, “We can’t turn a blind eye when fear and injustice keep people from living their lives freely and safely.”
