Lily Allen was seen attending an event at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday night, shortly after her ex-husband, Stranger Things actor David Harbour, spoke publicly about their separation for the first time.

Allen appeared at the venue in a black lace dress and heels, carrying a Chanel purse, as photos captured her leaving the hotel.

Her appearance came as Harbour reflected on his personal life in a new interview with Esquire Spain, where he discussed “pain, slip-ups, and mistakes” in his past and spoke of wanting to “love, be good to, and nurture” people in the future.

According to Daily Mail, the comments arrive soon after Allen released her latest album, West End Girl, which addresses themes of infidelity and heartbreak.

Moreover, the semi-autobiographical record, her first in seven years, explores the breakdown of her marriage to Harbour through tracks such as Tennis and Madeline.

In the Esquire interview, conducted before the album’s release but published this weekend, Harbour was asked about regrets as he turned 50.

“You either accept your path completely and realise that even the pain and mistakes are part of the journey,” he said, adding that those experiences bring “growth, wisdom, and deeper empathy.”

Furthermore, fans have been quick to connect Harbour’s reflections with Allen’s new music, which has been widely discussed for its candid portrayal of a fractured relationship.

The record, written and recorded shortly after their split, delves into betrayal and emotional distance, while maintaining Allen’s characteristic wit and vulnerability.

Allen and Harbour were married for four years after meeting on the celebrity dating app Raya.

They separated last December, with the singer later revealing that she discovered his affair with a younger colleague.
