Sonakshi Sinha opens up about her bond with husband Zaheer Iqbal's family
Sonakshi Sinha is opening up about her married life as she offers insights into her bond with her in-laws.
In an exclusive interview with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa on Bharti TV, the Dabangg star, who married the love of her life Zaheer Iqbal in 2024, explained that her husband was concerned whether she would want to live separately after marriage.
However, Sonakshi revealed that she was the one to turn down the idea of living separately from her in-laws.
The actress told the outlet, “Zaheer had asked me before marriage if I want to live separately from my in-laws, but I said no. I told him, ‘I will live with them; if you want to go, you go.’
“Yes, we go together for holidays. They are all very chill, and they have a lot of fun together. It’s a very close-knit family.”
In addition, she proudly shared that her mother-in-law doesn’t know how to cook, so she doesn’t mind Sonakshi not taking part in the kitchen at all.
The 38-year-old also mentioned that Sonakshi fit right in from the beginning.
