Shah Rukh Khan’s next film, King, is already shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2026. 

On his 60th birthday, SRK and his team finally unveiled the film’s title and first poster, which sent fans into a frenzy online.

According to people close to the project, this action drama unfolds across two timelines, with the Jawan star playing the same character at different ages. 

In the earlier timeline, he faces off against Raghav Juyal, who reportedly plays the main villain. 

The older version of King, however, will go head-to-head with Abhishek Bachchan, a pairing that brings the two stars together again after years, last seen sharing screen space in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Happy New Year.

What makes King even more special is that it marks Suhana Khan’s first big-screen appearance. 

After her debut in Zoya Akhtar's Netflix film The Archies, this film pairs her with her father for the very first time. 

Sources suggest that the 25-year-old actress’s role isn’t just a cameo or decorative part, she’s said to be central to the story.

The film is being produced under Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Siddharth Anand, known for his flashy, high-energy action films like Pathaan and War.

 His signature style reportedly blends well with SRK’s current phase of larger-than-life roles.

The film’s teaser was released on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday,  broke records by getting 28 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours, leaving Pushpa 2 behind with 27.67 million views.
