Kartik Aaryan, who will star in the upcoming fantasy comedy Naagzilla, is set for a big showdown with the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.

The 34-year-old actor will go head to head with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much awaited Love & War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, as both of the movies are scheduled to hit theaters on 14th August 2026.

In a recent update, Dharma Productions shared a video from the pooja ceremony ahead of the shoot and wrote, "We’re not just rolling…we’re slithering into the world of #Naagzilla! Day 1 was filled with laughter, blessings, positivity and too much फ़न! In cinemas 14th August, 2026."

The upcoming box office hit is produced by Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Sujit Jain, will be a grand scale entertainer with a mix of fantasy, humour, and stunning visuals.

As for those keeping an eye on the Bhansali's forthcoming film, the release date had initially been set for 20th March 2026.

However,  as per Pinkvilla's  latest  report, “Though around 125 days of the shoot is already completed, the makers are yet to finish a big chunk of the shoot and hence, the release date has been moved. An official announcement regarding the new release date will be made soon.”

After finishing their Mumbai schedule, Ranbir, Alia, Vicky, and the SLB team will travel to Italy for an important shoot, where the director planning to film the movie’s climax in Sicily.
