Pakistani actor Zahid Ahmed drew criticism after he made a bold statement about social media and content creators, declaring them “hell-bound.”
The 41-year-old actor made these fierce remarks during Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where he shared his dislike and hatred for social media platforms and trends.
His intense opinion triggered severe backlash from content creators who reacted to being called hell-bound.

However, after setting social media on fire, the Zara Yaad Kar star later issued an explanation and also apologised for his words.
Taking to Instagram, the Gentleman actor said, “I didn’t talk about content creators, I actually called those who created social media platforms ‘hell-bound’ from my side.
And I feel very embarrassed about it because I spoke too emotionally. No one except Allah has the right to decide who goes to hell or not.”
The Besharam actor continued to say that it was very important for him to admit this, especially because young people who listen to his stuff about religion and faith conveyed a very wrong message, like how could I myself make such a judgment or use such words.
