Shah Rukh Khan reflects on 'romantic' angle in upcoming film 'King'
Shah Rukh Khan recently offered a glimpse of his role in the much-anticipated film King, alongside Deepika Padukone.
The 60-year-old actor, who is expected to portray a “macho hero” in King, hinted at a romantic angle in the upcoming film.
During an appearance at an auditorium in Mumbai, the Jawan star said, “I have Deepika Padukone with me, so love will obviously be there.”
The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor also spoke about Siddharth Anand’s directorial venture.
Speaking exclusively, he shared, “I don’t want to give out too much of the story of King. Once more and more assets come up, you’ll know more about the film. The idea behind the film is that we end up taking things personally. We should think whether what we are doing is right or not. Also, we are not going to take any sides in King. If you like our thought, then do follow it. Or just keep doing bad things.”
This conversation comes on the heels of King Khan unveiling the first look of his upcoming project.
For the unversed, Shah Rukh and Padukone have previously worked together in Om Shanti Om (2007), Chennai Express (2013), Happy New Year (2014), Pathaan (2023), and Jawan (2023).
King, which also stars Suhana Khan, is expected to release in 2026.
