David Beckham has received a knighthood from King Charles III in recognition of his services to sport and charity, and his wife Victoria Beckham has publicly expressed how “incredibly proud” she is of the honor.

Beckham was invested as a Knight Bachelor at a ceremony held today at Windsor Castle, marking the culmination of his illustrious career both on and off the pitch.

According to Daily Mail, the accolade acknowledges decades of contributions, including his work with children’s charities and his leadership for the England national team.

Victoria shared a heartfelt message on social media following the ceremony. 

“From the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country,” she wrote, praising David’s dedication, humility and commitment to family. “I’ve never felt prouder than I do today.”

It was announced earlier this year that Beckham would be elevated to knighthood, more than a decade after his first nomination. For Victoria, the honor means being styled as Lady Beckham.

The ceremony reflects both personal achievement and national recognition, capturing the intersection of celebrity, service and public life.
