Anurag Kashyap is defining the most popular Khan in Bollywood, drawing parallels between Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan.
In an exclusive interview with Komal Nahta, the Gangs of Wasseypur director didn’t hesitate to reveal which actor unapologetically tops the popularity list in Bollywood.
Without a doubt, he told the outlet, “Shah Rukh Khan is the most popular, then Salman, and then Aamir. Aamir is the most hardworking and shrewd.”
For the unversed, Anurag has yet to collaborate with any of the Khans in his upcoming projects, given his complex history with multiple actors in the industry.
The Ghost Stories director only happened to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Zoya Akhtar’s Luck By Chance.
However, his brother Abhinav Kashyap previously worked with Salman Khan in the blockbuster Dabangg, which caused a fallout between them after the film’s massive box office success.
While the Khans haven’t made any promises to the public and details remain under wraps, they teased a potential project featuring all three of them at the Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
