Bollywood icon and co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan, once again proved his charm and wit leaving fans in stitches with a playful comment directed at star cricketer Rinku Singh.
The hilarious exchange took place on social media after Rinku Singh posted a warm birthday wish for the superstar who turned 60 on November 2nd.
Rinku, a key player for SRK’s IPL franchise, took to X (formerly Twitter) to wish the actor, saying:
“The best ever! Happy birthday @iamsrk sir.”
Known for his witty and affectionate replies, Shah Rukh Khan responded to the cricketer’s post with a cheeky question that instantly went viral:
“Thank u Rinku. Lots of love... and shaadi kab hai?”
The playful question which translates to “When is the wedding?” was perfectly timed and added to the fun.
Rinku Singh got engaged to politician Priya Saroj earlier this year and their wedding which was originally planned for November, has been postponed to next year due to Rinku’s demanding cricket schedule.
Fans were quick to praise the actor’s sense of humour and the warm bond he shares with his team players.
The exchange garnered thousands of likes and comments confirming that King Khan is not just a superstar on screen but also a delightful personality on social media.
