Siddharth Sharma takes legal action against 'Soorya' producers
Siddharth Sharma has issued a legal notice to the producers of 'Soorya', the upcoming film starring Sunny Deol, alleging a breach of contract
Siddharth Sharma has formally issued a legal notice to the producers of the upcoming film Soorya, starring Sunny Deol, accusing them of repeated violations of his contract.
Sharma announced his decision via a statement posted on Instagram, stating that the production company—including names such as Kamal Mukut, Soham Rockstar Entertainment, and Deepak Mukut—failed to honour key terms of an “Artist Agreement” signed prior to production of the film.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the notice references specific sections of the Indian Contract Act, 1872—namely Sections 37, 39, 73 and 74—emphasising the legal gravity of the alleged breach and warning that formal proceedings will follow if the issues remain unaddressed.
At present, none of the producers involved have publicly responded to Sharma’s claim or issued a comment on the matter.
Industry observers say such contract disputes have the potential to delay production timelines and impact promotional plans for high-profile films like Soorya.
