Children’s educator and YouTube star Ms Rachel turned heads and made a powerful statement with her attire at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards in New York.

The 42-year-old influencer, whose real name is Rachel Accurso, wore a beautiful gown that also has a symbolic importance.

Not because her dress was made by any famous fashion designer, but it became the talk of the town because it was decorated with drawings made by children from Gaza.

Their artwork, along with their names stitched in Arabic, turned her black upcycled dress into something powerful, a message of hope and heartbreak sewn together.

Ms Rachel, known for her cheerful songs that help kids learn to speak, started her YouTube channel six years ago for her own son, who had a speech delay.

What began as a mom’s home project has now become a global platform with millions of viewers.

She still sings and teaches, but now she uses her platform to raise her voice for children in war zones like Gaza, Sudan, and Ukraine.

For the Glamour event, she asked children in Gaza to draw something that told their story. Later, those drawings were embroidered onto her dress.

On the red carpet, she said softly, “I’m carrying their stories in my heart. They all know about the dress, and they’re so excited.”

She even held small portraits of each child as she walked, turning her appearance into something more than fashion, a quiet reminder of kids who dream and create, even when their world is breaking.

Her pictures and videos, proudly presenting her dress, immediately went viral, and netizens bombarded the comment section with praise and love
