Deepika Padukone turns heads with powerful fashion statement

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone once again proved that she is more than just a film icon.
At the CNBC-TV18 Global Leadership Summit in Mumbai on Friday, the 39-year-old actress made a strong fashion statement that perfectly blended business power with effortless style.
She chose to wear a black outfit from designer Sabyasachi’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, a cropped jacket made of Italian cashmere and Japanese velvet, full of details but not loud.
The jacket had floral embroidery in ivory and a few shiny sequins around the borders. Her stylist Shaleena Nathani kept the look clean and balanced.
Deepika paired the jacket with high-waisted velvet trousers and a satin-silk top underneath, with only small diamond studs and a low sleek bun.
Her makeup was soft, with rosy lips, glowing skin and long lashes, adding a simple but elegant touch.
Instead of glitz and glamour, the Om Shanti Om star opted for this outfit as a nod to simplicity and strength.
On the work front, she was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, which was released last year.
Later, the Padmaavat actor took a break for her maternity period but stayed in the spotlight for various reasons, from her work demands to her fashion statements.
Currently, she is working alongside Shah Rukh Khan on their upcoming film King, slated to release in 2026.
