French actress and writer Kalki Koechlin marked Children’s Day by going back to one of the happiest moments from her early times. The 41-year-old actress opened an old photo that brings back a story she still remembers with a smile.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Kalki shared a picture she once had of an unusual but very cute childhood friend, a baby squirrel.

The Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani actress recalled how the little squirrel would curl up and rest in her hair at night. When it was very small, she even fed Cerelac with a pipette. She laughed while saying that she used to suck her thumb for a long time, which she believes is why she has a “big mouth.”

Now a mother to her five- year old daughter Sappho, Kalki said,"Life feels brighter and more meaningful. I let my daughter freely and enjoy small creative moments.”
