Bollywood Actress Aditi Rao issued a warning and revealed that someone has been impersonating her on WhatsApp and contacting photographers with fake photoshoot requests.

The 39-year-old actress, on Sunday, took to her Instagram to share a note, in which she informed that a few people recently brought to her notice that an unknown person was using her photos and contacting photographers for fake "photoshoots".

The Bibbo Jan of Heeramandi wrote, "I wanted to flag something that a few people brought to my notice today. Someone has been pretending to be me on WhatsApp, using my pictures and messaging photographers about 'photoshoots'."

The Bhoomi star also urged people to be alert and not reply to the number, and advised if anyone notices something "odd", they should inform her team immediately.

She added, "It isn't me. I don't reach out like this, and I don't use any personal number for work. Everything always goes through my team. Please be careful and don't engage with that number. If you come across anything odd, just let my team know. Thank you to all those who have my back and are so protective and kind."

On the work front, Aditi was last seen in the 2024 series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she played the role of Bibbojaan.

Her upcoming projects span multiple formats, including the Hindi film 'Parivarik Manu Ranjan' and the silent feature 'Gandhi Talks'. Internationally, she is working on the co-production Lioness. She has also signed Imtiaz Ali's Netflix series 'O Saathi Re'.
