After weeks of speculation, Sonam Kapoor finally confirmed her second pregnancy with the latest photoshoot.

Rumours of the 40-year-old diva and her husband expecting a second child first surfaced two months ago.

But neither the Neerja actor nor any of her family members confirmed or denied it.

It further fuelled the chatter when she stepped out for the first time to attend the Karwa Chauth celebration at her father Anil Kapoor’s house, where she did not pose for photographers and preferred to sit in the car.

However, now she herself has confirmed the upcoming addition to the family with a stylish photoshoot.

The PadMan actress took to Instagram and shared a carousel of her pictures.

In the photos, she was seen wearing a bright pink coat-style dress that looked elegant and sharp. She paired it with black tights and black high-heeled shoes.

She added a bossy charm to her look with a black handbag and dark sunglasses.

But what caught everyone’s attention was her cute baby bump, which was clearly visible. Adding more authenticity, she also held it.

Sonam shared a one-word caption for this special post, “Mother,” along with a kissing emoji, enough to confirm another beautiful phase of her life.

Her husband further elaborated on the good news by commenting, “double trouble.”

Soon after the post was shared, her comment section quickly filled with congratulatory messages and love from fans and friends, including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

The Sanju star and businessman Anand Ahuja tied the knot in May 2018 in Mumbai. And three years later, they welcomed their first son, Vayu, in August 2022.
