Actor Ranveer Singh stole the spotlight at a high profile Udaipur sangeet after pulling Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, onstage for an unexpected dance moment that quickly went viral.

The three-day celebrations began on Friday (November 21) across the city’s famous venues.

The 40-year-old actor was hosting the evening’s entertainment at the sangeet ceremony of Netra Mantena daughter of US billionaires Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju, co-founder and CTO of Superorder.

Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted the night with performances by Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan and Ranveer. 

The crowd went wild when the Simmba star encouraged Trump Jr. and Anderson to groove to “What Jhumka?” from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

The clip, now circulating widely online, shows the couple dancing together before Ranveer leads them into the Hindi number. Bettina appeared in a gold lehenga choli, while Ranveer kept the mood high in a black formal suit.

He later brought everyone on stage for Aankh Maare from Simmba and also performed Apna Time Aayega from Gully Boy.

Notably, the multi venue wedding will host roughly 600 guests at The Leela Palace, Zenana Mahal and Jagmandir Island Palace.

In addition, the bride and groom belong from impressive backgrounds. Netra Mantena hails from a wealthy Orlando based family, meanwhile Vamsi Gadiraju, a Columbia University graduate and 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, leads a rapidly growing restaurant delivery business.

On the professional front, Ranveer will soon be seen in Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. The film also features R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna and is set to hit cinemas on 5 December.
