The planned wedding of music composer Palash Muchhal and Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was delayed due to sudden health emergencies in both families.Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana , experienced a medical emergency on the wedding day and was rushed to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli. A day later, Palash was also admitted to a sanitarium in Sangli.

Soon after, Smriti deleted all wedding- related posts from her Instagram, including her engagement announcement proposal video, and pre-wedding photos. This move triggered speculation on social media.

Shortly after the Instagram deletion , posts began circulating on social media and Reddit claiming that Palash had exchanged chats with another woman, who was reportedly involved in pre-wedding events. Some screenshots showed messages allegedly sent by Palash, though the authenticity and timing of these messages have not been confirmed.

Additionally, a few online reports claimed Palash was seen with another woman prior to the wedding. These posts gained attention , but none of the claims have been officially verified by either Palash or Smriti.

The only official statement regarding the wedding postponement came from Palash’s sister Palak Muchhal , who shared on Instagram she wrote,"Due to Smriti's dad's health, Smriti and Palash's wedding has been put on hold. We request everyone to respect the privacy of the families during this sensitive time.”

Palash and Smriti were supposed to get married on November 23 ,but the ceremony stopped when Smriti’s father fell ill.

Online discussions continue to circulate, but as of now, there is no verified confirmation of any cheating.
