A leaked private video of social media influencers Sofik SK and Dustu Sonali is at the centre of a controversy.

After that, they each posted videos to their personal Instagram accounts addressing the problem and attributing the leak to a friend.

Who exactly is Sofik SK?

He is a Bengali content creator with a major social media following. He had more than 5 lakh followers at the time this report was written.

He frequently creates videos with his partner, Dustu Sonali, another content creator. The majority of his nearly 45 videos on the platform feature him lip-syncing and dancing to music.

Who Is Dustu Sonali?

She is described as a "artist" in her Instagram bio, and as of right now, she has almost 312,000 followers and 130 posts. She frequently appears in videos that Sofik SK shares.

Couple blames friend in viral controversy

Both Sofik and Dustu claimed one of their friends of leaking the videos they posted on Instagram.

The two explained that it was a private moment between the two of them, and they also apologised for the video that had been leaked.

She also mentioned that she has reported the friend to the cybercrime unit and other authorities. She added that she would file lawsuits against his family, including his sister and her husband, if the friend increased the situation.

She added that she is currently unable to go outside and that the video has ruined her life.

“Even I didn't have this video. My girlfriend had it. We trusted a friend with our phones, who knew our passwords. He took the video and used it to blackmail us. When I stopped contact, he posted it online. I considered him like a brother, but he betrayed that trust,” Sofik SK said, addressing the matter.
