Farah Khan, Abhishek Bajaj react to Gaurav’s captaincy chase
Farah Khan and Abhishek Bajaj chat about 'Bigg Boss 19', Gaurav, and the ongoing tasks
Farah Khan, who has often hosted Bigg Boss in place of Salman Khan during some Weekend of War episodes, recently invited ex-contestant Abhishek Bajaj to her home for her latest YouTube vlog.
The two chatted about the current season, the contestants, and some of the ongoing tasks in the house in the vlog, dropped on Friday, November 28.
During their candid conversation, the filmmaker expressed her confusion over Gaurav Khanna’s obsession with the captaincy task.
“Gaurav ko toh jitne hi nahi de rahe he. Par woh bhi paagal ki tarah pata nahi captaincy ke peeche kyu parha he,” she said, pointing out that it doesn’t really make a difference in the bigger picture.
She added, “Uska aur winner banney se koi lena dena nahi he,” noting that previous winners like Sidharth Shukla or MC Stan didn’t necessarily become captain during their seasons.
Abhishek, 33, agreed to her comment and responded, “It’s more about what you do in the week.”
Notably, the choreographer has been open about her favourites in the show, as in a past conversation on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, she had mentioned Gaurav was her top choice from Bigg Boss 19.
Meanwhile, for the unfamiliar, Gaurav has become the first finalist of this season after winning the Ticket to Finale task.
The other contestants still in the race include Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Farhana Bhat, Ashnoor Kaur, Malti Chahar, and Shehbaz Badesha.
The reality television series premieres every evening at 9 pm on JioHotstar and 10:30 pm on Colors TV.
