Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor-entrepreneur Lin Laishram, have shared a piece of news that has filled their fans with happiness.

The couple announced that they are expecting their first child, and they chose a simple moment in the woods to make the big reveal.

Sitting near a bonfire, dressed in matching beige outfits, they posted a picture on Instagram with the caption hinting at “a little wild one on the way.”

But beyond the pregnancy itself, many fans are seeing this as another chapter in the couple’s steady, culture-rooted journey together.

Ever since their wedding in 2023, the 49-year-old actor and his better half have been praised for the way they blended their backgrounds. 

The Sergeant actor chose to marry Lin in her home state, Manipur, in a traditional Meitei ceremony.

The wedding was small but deeply traditional, with Lin in elaborate Manipuri bridal wear and Randeep dressed as a Manipuri groom.

At the time, he had said he wanted to honour her culture and experience it fully, even joking about the long rituals that grooms must sit through.

Their love story began years earlier at Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group, Motley, where they became friends before falling for each other.

Fans flooded today’s announcement with blessings, calling the upcoming baby a “beautiful new chapter.”

Randeep was last seen in the film Jaat, while Lin has appeared in films including Mary Kom and Rangoon. Their first child is expected later this year.
