Erling Haaland smashes Premier League Goal record
This incredible feat shatters the long-standing record held by legendary striker Alan Shearer
Manchester City’s star striker, Erling Haaland, has just made history by becoming the fastest player ever to score 100 Premier League goals.
The Norwegian reached this massive milestone in just 111 matches during City’s wild 5-4 victory over Fulham on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Haaland spoke about his achievement, saying:
“Proud moment, 100 club is a huge thing. To do it this quickly is amazing. I’m proud, I’m happy. I’ve said it many times, a striker for City should score a lot of goals. That’s my job, that’s what I try to do. And I’m not bad at it!”
This incredible feat shatters the long-standing record held by legendary striker Alan Shearer, who needed 124 games to reach his century, meaning Haaland did it in 13 fewer games.
The goal came in the 17th minute, a sharp finish that marked his 15th league goal this season. The 25-year-old’s scoring rate is truly astonishing as he’s consistently broken scoring records since joining Manchester City in 2022.
While he’s now part of the exclusive “100 Club” of Premier League goalscorers, many believe he is on track to challenge Shearer’s all-time record of 260 goals.
