Cloudflare went down, causing many major websites to stop working properly. The outage affected platforms including X (formerly Twitter), Substack, Canva, and more. Even Down Detector, a website that tracks outages globally, was affected.

Some websites that had been hit during last month’s Cloudflare issues were not affected this time. These included ChatGPT, which appeared to have reduced its reliance on Cloudflare since the previous outage.

Visitors to affected sites saw a “500 internet server error” instead of the expected content.

The problems occurred just two-and-a-half weeks after Cloudflare experienced another major outage that took its services offline for hours. The company provides web infrastructure services to many of the world’s biggest websites, ensuring pages stay online even under heavy traffic.

However, any Cloudflare outage can instantly impact multiple other websites, even those that seem unrelated, as it acts as an intermediary between web pages and visitors.

Earlier, Cloudflare had faced a major outage on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, causing disruptions on several platforms. Popular websites and apps, including X (formerly Twitter), Canva, OpenAI, and multiplayer games , went down, affecting millions of users worldwide.
