Sam Thompson has revealed that his former girlfriend Zara McDermott ended up pocketing one of his cherished items after their breakup, his pair of Crocs. 

The disclosure came during an episode of his podcast Staying Relevant, where co-host Pete Wicks asked Sam what he’d wear to a high-profile fashion event. 

Sam quipped that he’d don his “Crocs— shock value,” then admitted with a laugh, “Yeah, Zara took them.”

According to Daily Mail, the confession follows Sam and Zara’s split, which was publicly confirmed in early 2025 after five years together.

As per Sam, he’s now in need of a new pair — signaling a small, lighthearted closure to that chapter.

The revelation came shortly after Sam went “Instagram official” with a new partner, DJ and model Talitha Balinska.

 During the same podcast episode, he confirmed the relationship, describing how he recently asked her to be his girlfriend during a dinner date.

While the Crocs anecdote might seem trivial, it offers a glimpse into Sam’s post-split life — using humor to navigate a transition that has included heartbreak, a public breakup, and the start of a new romantic chapter.
