Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is not just winning over film buffs; it has also become the talk of the industry, drawing strong praise from major Bollywood celebrities.

Inspired by true events, this spy thriller is roaring at the box office, and by presenting a glimpse of Karachi's past, it is receiving a lot of attention even from across the border.

Filled with traditional Bollywood-style patriotism, its storyline depicts India’s fight against terror in Pakistan. The film’s mix of real-life inspiration, high-voltage action and emotional depth has turned it into one of the most-discussed releases of the year.

Indian cinema star Akshay Kumar, known for his patriotism-centric films, also joined the list of celebrities who showered their love for the film and expressed his admiration for Dhurandhar on social media.

On Wednesday, December 10, Akshay took to his official X handle (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Watched Dhurandhar and I’m blown away. What a gripping tale and you’ve simply nailed it. @AdityaDharFilms. We need our stories to be told in a hard-hitting way and I’m so glad the audiences are giving the film all the love it deserves."

On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana also reviewed the action drama with an overwhelming reaction.

Khurrana took to Instagram stories and wrote, “Bollywood just peaked with #Dhurandhar, @adityadharfilms take a bow!”
