The actor, who portrayed the role of Rehman Dakait in the highly-acclaimed film, reportedly took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his heartfelt gratitude for the love he has received following Dhurandhar’s release.

Expressing appreciation for his fans worldwide, Khanna wrote, "Hi guys! Recently I joined X and I’m honestly feeling pretty good being here. I’ll continue for a month and see if I can move forward or not — but for now, please welcome me! Thank you for all your support on #Dhurandhar."

However, the Race actor’s post has sparked confusion among netizens, with many claiming that his presence on social media is a hoax and that Akshaye has yet to verify his statement.

While the profile uses the actor’s name and pictures, it is unverified and has only 150 followers despite his huge fan following.

This revelation comes after the Dil Chahta Hai actor garnered praise for his phenomenal performance in Aditya Dhar's directorial.
