Chris Martin recently made a surprising appearance at the wedding five months after his split form Dakota Johnson.

The Coldplay frontman left the guests shocked as he gave a live performance for the newlyweds’ first dance in Rugeley, Staffordshire over the weekend.

In a clip shared online, Chris was seen playing the piano, disguising himself beneath his signature beanie for Mr and Mrs Hodgkiss first dance as a married couple.

Interestingly, the musician mesmerised the couple and the guests with his song, All My Love.

The incredible surprise came after the groom's mother reached out to Chris in the hopes of receiving a personalised video for the happy couple.

However, the family was left stunned when the musician said, “We can do one better.”

Speaking to ITV New Central, the newlywed couple expressed their gratitude to Chris for taking his time out of his busy schedule to make their big day memorable.

“We would like to thank Chris and his team for making our already special day, even more special,” said the couple.

The appearance came after he parted way from his long-term girlfriend Dakota earlier in June after dating for eight years and getting engaged.

For those unversed, the former couple rumoured to have had two previous brief breakups and then reconciliations, one in 2019 and one in 2024.
