Sunny Deol recently became emotional following the teaser launch of his much-awaited film Border 2.

The 68-year-old actor, who garnered recognition for his portrayal of Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri in the 1997 original, appeared visibly emotional during his latest public appearance.

On Tuesday, December 16, the Gadar 2 actor got teary-eyed while addressing the audience at the teaser launch event of the upcoming project.

His eyes turned red as he began to cry and said, “How far should the voice go? Up to Lahore.”

Meanwhile, Sunny was accompanied by Varun Dhawan and Ahaan Shetty at the grand occasion.

It is pertinent to mention that the recently released teaser highlights the determination of the Indian Armed Forces, who fought hard to protect their motherland.

In Border 2, Deol is expected to portray Lt. Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler, while Dhawan will be seen as Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya.

Ahaan Shetty will play Lt Cdr Joseph Pius Alfred Noronha, MVC.

The film also stars Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Medha Rana, Paramvir Cheema, Guneet Sandhu, and Angad Singh.

For the unversed, Border 2 is slated for release on Friday, January 23, 2026.
