‘Dhurandhar’ worldwide collection Day 12: Spy thriller overtakes Sultan, Jailer
'Dhurandhar' worldwide box office collection day 12: The fatigue of the box office seems not to affect Dhurandhar at all.
It is something totally unheard of at least in the post-pandemic period that such a large-scale film can come out unscathed from the daily drops in its second week of showing.
The Ranveer Singh starrer, on Tuesday reached the new zeniths and the positions of domestic and international box offices were thus marked by the film.
'Dhurandhar' box office collection update
Dhurandhar's performance in India was phenomenal as he netted ₹30.50 crore on Monday and added another ₹30 crore on Tuesday, a great deal considering it is only the second week of the film.
The gigantic box office has thus far raked in ₹411.25 crore net ( ₹493.50 crore gross) in just 12 days in India. Dhurandhar has now joined the league of seven Hindi films that earned over ₹400 crores in domestic net collections.
With its vigorous pace it is probable that the film would be able to pass through the ₹500 crore and ₹600 crore milestones while some even speculate it may become the first Indian film in the Bollywood category to cross ₹700 crore in India eventually.
The second weekend of Dhurandhar led to the movie getting a new audience resulting in earning $16 million worldwide in its first 12 days with more than half of the amount coming in the last five days. Now its total worldwide collection stands at an incredible ₹639 crore which is more than double its week one collection.
'Dhurandhar' overtakes 'Sultan', 'Leo', 'Jailer'
Friday saw Dhurandhar continuing its extreme Monday run and overtaking the lifetime collections of several blockbusters like Leo (₹605 crore), Jailer (₹607 crore), and Sultan (₹622 crore) in the process. It is expected to pass the first Baahubali film's (₹650 crore) lifetime collections by the end of the day and aim for the ₹700 crores milestone by Thursday.
