Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Their chemistry and love are never hidden from fans’ eyes, whether it’s during public appearances or through fun mimic videos.

As Riteish turned 47 on December 17, social media was flooded with birthday wishes from fans and friends. 

On his special day, how could the 38-year-old actress not share something straight from her heart for her “heartbeat” on social media? So, she did just that.

Taking to Instagram, the  Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na fame wrote, "My Dearest @riteishd, I know everyone who knows us, wonders how we are inseparable and yet so happy about it, even after all these years.. But the truth is it's all YOU.”

Expressing gratitude, she penned, "You are love. You are grace. You make laugh and even if I cry you wipe away every tear."

Reflecting on her husband’s ability to make people feel appreciated and valued, she added, "You have the most amazing ways of making a connection, and everyone feels they matter, when they are in your company and for me, I have you 24-7, just imagine what I get to experience from the man who has a heart of gold (sic)."

The Sitare Zameen Par actor concluded her message by calling the Masti actor her "heartbeat" and celebrating his role in her life. She wrote, "I will celebrate you every day, every minute, every second because you are all that and more. Happy Birthday, my heartbeat. You have my heart. Just keep it safe with you (sic)."

Riteish and Genelia’s relationship began t on the sets of Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. The couple tied the knot in 2012 in both Hindu and Christian ceremonies, and are parents to two sons, Riaan and Rahyl.
