Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat has offered a glimpse into a rare White House tradition, after sharing pictures and videos from the Christmas dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump.

The annual dinner, held in Washington DC, is one of the White House’s most closely guarded social events, with invitations limited to a small and carefully chosen guest list from different fields. 

The 49-year-old posted images from the evening on Instagram, showing her posing outside the White House and at its entrance.

Reacting to the invite, the Murder star wrote, "Being invited to the White House Christmas dinner feels completely surreal - Grateful #whitehouse #xmasdinner." 

In the photographs, the actor is seen wearing a pink-ombre slip dress paired with a fur jacket. She also shared videos of President Trump speaking at the event, along with a picture of the official invitation.

The posts quickly drew attention online. While several fans praised her look, others questioned how she made it to the exclusive guest list.

One fan commented,  "Congrats! How did you get invited? I'm curious," another wrote, "This is so cool you got the opportunity to go in white house."

Mallika Sherawat became a familiar name in the mid-2000s with films such as Khwahish, Murder and Pyaar Ke Side Effects. 

She later worked on international projects, including Hiss and The Myth. Her most recent appearance was in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
