Hugh Jackman’s loved ones have recently expressed concern over his weary appearance.

The Wolverine star was reportedly disappointed after receiving negative reviews of From New York With Love.

An insider revealed to Radar Online that the show didn’t go well because audience were not happy with his decision to divorce Deborra-Lee Furness after 27 years of marriage.

“He really struggled to cope with all the backlash he got over his breakup with Deb,” said a source.

The insider mentioned that his “reputation is everything to him, so it really rocked him to suddenly have all these people judging him and condemning him”.

However, the source pointed out that he “hasn't allowed himself a minute of downtime to come to grips with it”.

“If anything, he's been working even more and it's very obvious that the total lack of self-care is catching up to him,” remarked an insider.

The source further shared that the Logan actor has been “running on empty for months”.

“Hugh keeps saying he’s fine but he's clearly not taking care of himself – he hardly sleeps, he skips meals and he always makes work his priority,” stated an insider.

Meanwhile, the source added that the actor’s friends and family including girlfriend Sutton Foster are “worried” because he’s “one step away from total burnout”.
